As an introduction, I am first and foremost, a conservative. I am registered a Republican simply so I can vote in primaries.

Unfortunately, the Republican party is the only party that holds out the promise of a conservative candidate. By voting in primaries I am able, to a very small degree, able to influence the selection of candidates. For example, Mel Martinez has to go. If I were registered as a conservative, I couldn't vote against him in the upcoming primary in 2010. So, I'm registered Republican as distasteful as I find that at this time.

This site was formerly a site I started for a World of Warcraft guild. We were a bunch of misfits, very independent and completely unorganized. The guild fell apart, much like the republican party, and we all moved on. With the election of a Marxist, I have once again entered a stage in my life that I can't support the basic principles of the elected president. I feel disenfranchised and feel that I have been betrayed.
